StoryPop offers a variety of themed role playing and murder mystery games. Browse our game library to find the perfect game for you and your guests.
Once you’ve found and purchased your game, it’s time to download the StoryPop app and create an account.
Enter the date, time, and location of your game night, then send email invitations right from the app. Guests will be prompted to download the app to RSVP.
As host, you’ll assign a character to each guest, including yourself — the StoryPop app handles the game’s plot so you can fully participate and experience all the twists and turns. Guests will receive helpful info about their characters, such as costume inspo and story intel they can review before the event.
Each StoryPop game comes complete with party inspiration to help you set the stage for your story. With tailored tips for your theme, including recipes and costume and decor ideas, party planning has never been easier.
Use a Smart TV (or other device) to connect to the StoryPop Companion App, which will display important info throughout the game and set the scene with background music and sounds to create an immersive gameplay experience.
Make sure everyone has a charged smartphone and is ready for an unforgettable evening of role playing and social deduction. (If you have any last-minute cancellations, don’t worry! The app makes it easy to shuffle roles so that all characters are covered.)
Once all your guests have checked in, it's time to officially start the game. The Companion App will provide a brief introduction and gameplay instructions before launching the first game phase.
StoryPop games consist of three rounds of gameplay with a short break in between — all guided by the app. Players complete unique objectives by socializing with one another through casual role play. After each round, players answer questions in the app to help shape the next round and, ultimately, the outcome of the story.
After the final round of gameplay and questions, the Companion App reveals a custom ending driven by players’ choices and completed goals. Your guests will never forget this fun, one-of-a-kind, interactive experience!
The fun isn't over just yet! After your story ending has been revealed, guests will be awarded StoryPop Superlatives (such as Best Costume or Most In Character) as voted on by fellow players.
Using the StoryPop app’s Game Gallery, you and your guests can easily upload and share photos from the event, creating a convenient way to look back on your night of fun and share all the memorable moments.
Once you purchase a StoryPop game, it’s yours forever. Host as many StoryPop parties as you want and run the game again and again with different guests or swapped roles!
