Our mission

At StoryPop, we believe social connection is more important than ever. Our idea blossomed from wanting to find new and unique ways to help people connect with others, be social, and have fun...without it costing a fortune or being a pain to plan.

That's why we created our first-of-its-kind app — to make unique, immersive theme party experiences accessible and fun for anyone and everyone. Whatever your hobbies, interests, age, background, or budget, there's a StoryPop story for you. Our goal is to make the planning, hosting, and gameplay easy, so you can disconnect from stress and distractions and reconnect with friends.

Our technology

When we started designing StoryPop, we knew we wanted to create a truly immersive experience that could transport people into their story. Each player's smartphone serves as their guide and controller throughout the game, prompting them to answer questions, complete tasks, and strike up conversations. Our companion app can be paired with a tablet or smart TV to help your party guests track game phases, see group-wide updates, and to help set the ambiance with curated background music and sound effects for your story. You can even integrate Philips Hue devices to set the mood with custom lighting scenes to match your theme.
