Make it for game night! This recipe was crafted to help set the theme for:

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Amaro liqueur
  • 2 oz whiskey or bourbon
  • Dash of orange bitters
  • Dash of angostura bitters
  • Luxardo cherries, for garnish

Directions

1. Stir all ingredients in a rocks glass with a large ice cube.

2. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry on a pick and serve. (You can use any maraschino cherry for a garnish, really, but Luxardo cherries have a unique richness that really takes this drink to the next level. If you haven't had them before, they are well worth the extra expense!)

TIP: If you plan to craft a lot of cocktails and are serious about their presentation, we recommend picking up this clear ice cube tray from ClearlyFrozen. It makes 10 2" cubes at a time, and you can even freeze fruit and other garnishes into your clear cubes for an extra-special touch that is sure to impress your guests and cocktail aficionados.
